June Theme: Adaptability

Session Name: The Importance of Self Leadership

Leadership is a broad term, including terms such as management leadership, business leadership and operational leadership. Leadership stays top of mind as each of us progress through the ranks and some will fare better than others.  The question remains why some of us succeed while some of us stumble.  It starts with You and Your ability to listen, learn, stay focused and have an ambition to drive success for your organizations.

Join us to hear Sophia Leong talk about the importance of self leadership and share the top 5 tools she recommends for your leadership toolkit.

Speaker: Sophia Leong, Executive Lead, Development & International Relations Professional Development Institute, University of Ottawa

Sophia Leong currently leads Development and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa Professional Development Institute, responsible for executive leadership and management education for local, national and global markets. She was previously Executive Director of uOttawa Telfer Executive MBA Program and was responsible for leading the “Global, Practical, Relevant” executive learning platform to be ranked #1 Global Executive MBA by CEO Magazine for two years running (2017 and 2018) and to be included in the Financial Times’ top 100 in 2018.
