Manuela Teixeira

CEO of a residential, commercial and recreational tourism development project in Chelsea as well as several tourist accommodation and catering establishments, including the Chelsea Pub, the Biscotti & Cie café, Lofts du Village, Manuela Teixeira has been involved in the Outaouais community for over 25 years. On the academic side, she obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration-marketing in 1992 and completed a master's degree in communications at the University of Ottawa in 2009, specializing in social media and web marketing. Since 1993, she has participated in various cultural institutions, serving on the boards of directors of theaters and arts centers in the National Capital Region. Her career has developed primarily in the communications industry, first as a writer and then as communications manager. From 1999 to 2004, she took over the management of the firm Kolegram, which then went from a small local graphic design agency to a nationally recognized agency and won its first numerous international and national awards in graphic design. In 2005, La Cité offered her the coordination of the communications-marketing program. She took up the challenge and was a professor for 4 years. In 2008, she won the National Capital Region Teaching Excellence Award. In 2009, she decided to retire to devote herself to various development projects such as microbrewery and other projects. In 2016, she embarked on real estate development in Old Chelsea. Today, she continues to be very involved at the community level and in the economic development of the region. She was president Outaouais Tourism until September 2017, founder of the Chelsea Arts, Culture and Heritage Center, founding member of the Festibière de Gatineau, co-president of the 150th Committee of the Outaouais confederation, etc.
Alex Keenan

Alex is a Public Speaking & Communications Consultant at Stage Light Communications. She helps business owners, professionals, and change-makers perform at their best, while feeling great in their own skin. A recovering lawyer and an improv comedian, she believes in speaking your mind, and looking for the humour in every moment.
Danny Dawson

Danny began his real estate career in 2014 as a Sales Representative and obtained his Broker designation in 2018. Throughout his career he's achieved multiple awards, the most recent one putting him in the top 3% of sales within Royal LePage. Danny is also a passionate real estate investor. Purchasing his first home at 20 years old and he’s been able to acquire several properties and was even featured in Canada’s top real estate investment magazine (Canadian Real Estate Wealth). Specifically, he understands the costs and challenges involved with buying a home that needs work or converting a home into a multi-unit investment. Outside of real estate, Danny enjoys spending time in nature; snowboarding in the winter months and mountain biking in the summer. He’s also a proud volunteer and sponsor of Trip For Kids Ottawa, an organization that offers mountain bike rides to kids who would otherwise not have the opportunity.
