Topic: Meal Planning and Healthy Eating Habits

January is a great time to start 2022 with some healthy habits. If your New Year’s Resolution is to be healthy or you want some inspiration, come out and join Alison as she shares her tips and tricks to start the new year on the right foot. Alison will help with ideas for meal planning and healthy eating that your family will love. 

Speaker: Alison Kelly-Quesnel


Alison Kelly-Quesnel is the owner of SupperWorks Ottawa. Her business provides healthy meals for you to cook at home, whether you're cooking for one or six, without having to do the planning, shopping, chopping, or clean-up. Since graduating from University of Guelph with B.Comm in Hospitality Management, Alison has remained in the foodservice industry - First female operating partner with Cara Foods- Kelsey's Orleans, Foodservice Director at Carleton University and a Healthcare Sales Manager with Nestle. 

Alison grew up in Greely and still lives there today. Her husband of 22 years, Etienne, is a firefighter for the City of Ottawa and she has two teens. Joel is 18 and plays hockey and is in the first year of Building Science degree at Algonquin College, Olivia is soon to be 16 and plays ringette. They added a pandemic puppy to their family - Hunter an active Brittany Spaniel. Etienne shares her entrepreneurial spirit; the two own a maple bush QUESNEL MAPLE and produce maple syrup every spring. Being involved in the community is also important to Alison. She is involved in the curling club, parent council, and is a member of the Women’s Business Network of Ottawa, “I’m also an enthusiastic RedBlacks fan!”
