Rebecca is a lawyer at *Macera & Jarzyna LLP/Moffat Co.*, a renowned law firm specializing in intellectual property. Her practice focuses primarily on patent and trademark prosecution, where she plays a crucial role in helping businesses protect their most valuable assets—their ideas and brand identity. Trademarking a brand is essential in today's competitive market. It not only protects a company's unique identity from being copied or misused by others but also solidifies its reputation, ensuring long-term recognition and trust. Rebecca's expertise in this area is backed by an impressive academic background: she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Queen’s University in 2018 and a J.D. from Western University in 2021.
