Session Topic: How to Write Yourself Out of a Bad Mood

Learn some simple tools and tricks to support your emotional well-being through writing, even if you don't consider yourself a writer. Writing is powerful and therapeutic, and with a bit of knowledge and some guidance you can use it as a healthy coping skill in your life and business. This workshop will present 3 simple ways you can use writing to support your well-being, following which you'll be led through a number of self-reflective, empowering and EASY writing exercises. You'll leave this workshop more confident in yourself and your capacity to use writing as self-care.

Speaker: Parrish Wilson


As a Writer & Writing Coach, Parrish Wilson has been supporting writers since 2013 with an open and accepting manner that provides a safe space for vulnerable writing. She holds a Masters in Counselling and Spirituality, and a Graduate Certificate in Creative Writing. In her work with individuals and groups, Parrish crafts meaningful writing experiences leading to deep personal transformation. Personal and professional writing takes many forms and Parrish can support you however you are pulled to write: journaling, memoir, essay or blogging. In her non-work life, she’s a mama to two neurodivergent boys and a big fan of restorative yoga, high quality tea and messy houses.
