WBN July Wind-Down: Summer Scavenger Hunt & Social
Let’s shake up your summer networking with a WBN-style scavenger hunt! This team-based adventure is designed to get you moving, laughing, and connecting in a fresh, energetic way.
Expect interactive challenges, creative photo prompts, and unexpected moments of fun - all designed to help you engage with fellow members while exploring one of Ottawa’s most dynamic outdoor spaces.
Build Your Dream Team!
We encourage attendees to form their own teams of 3-5 ahead of time and register together. It’s a fun way to bond with friends, colleagues, or new faces in the network! Don’t have a team? No worries! We will match you with others at check-in. It is a great way to meet new faces and grow your network in a low pressure high fun environment.
How It Works:
Arrive by 5:30 PM at the north entrance of Aberdeen Pavilion
We’ll confirm teams, introduce the app (GooseChase), and launch the hunt.
Complete creative missions around Lansdowne to earn points - challenges include trivia, photos, videos, and WBN-themed tasks.
Teams regroup by 7:00 PM for a social wind-down and prize celebration.
Post-Hunt Social - Picnic Style on the Great Lawn:
After the hunt, we’ll gather just outside Aberdeen Pavilion on the Great Lawn for a relaxed, outdoor networking social.
Light snacks and Non-alcoholic refreshments provided.
Laid-back vibe: Bring a blanket, take a seat at one of the picnic tables, or mingle freely
