Sandra will take you through her experience of her early career with Bell Media and the challenges and obstacles along the way. The values and morals she lives by and how anyone can accomplish what they want while staying true to themselves.
Sandra Bonnell, Bell Media General Sales Manager - Eastern Ontario
Sandra Bonnell is the General Sales Manager of Eastern Ontario with Bell Media for TV, Radio and Digital Sales. Under her leadership, Sandra manages a department of 30 Account Executives and Assistants representing 9 radio stations, 2 Television stations and a multitude of digital properties. Under the Bell Media portfolio lies 600 active clients advertising on one of the many Bell Media properties.
Born in Montreal in 1957, Sandra spent her high school years at Burke Mountain Academy in Vermont, a school with focus on competitive ski racing. Sandra graduated from Bishops University in 1979 with a BA Geography Major and English minor. She continued her passion for ski racing for many years coaching at various levels of the sport. Eventually settling down and testing different jobs before choosing her career in media sales.
Sandra has been married to her hubby Walter (who everyone loves) for 15 years. She has 2 sons Evan who lives in the Ottawa area and Alex who lives in Denver with his wife Lauren and 2 lovely daughters Lexi 6 and Finn 2.
Sandra still loves to ski, has taken up sailing in the past few years and golfs when she can fit it in. Pre-Covid Sandra visited her family in Denver and Vermont often.
