Due to the recent resignations of our VP Operations and Treasurer, and in accordance to the WBN by-laws, we are required to hold a Special Meeting of Members in order to vote in their successors for the remainder of this term. Please join us via Zoom on Monday, March 27th, to cast your vote for the following WBN Board of Directors positions:
Vice President Operations
Overview of the Position: The VP Operations is a volunteer board position responsible, along with the President and Executive Director (if applicable), in the day-to-day management of the WBN projects. The Vice President of Operations will help plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. She/they will share in the functioning of the organization to ensure an effective volunteer and member experience. This role works with the Corporate Secretary and Treasurer to ensure governance is in place and compliance to any legislation is adhered to.
Treasurer
Overview of the Position: It is the responsibility of the Treasurer to oversee the record keeping of all monetary transactions involving the WBN. She/they must work with all Committees and the Accounting Firm to oversee monies collected and expended.
